Her story.
Swedish-Chinese American singer/songwriter, composer, and producer Samanta Liza is a self-taught musical medium. Her music is a fusion of dance, 90s electronic trip hop, mid-1800s classical piano, 60s-70s psychedelic rock, tribal percussion, and pop melodies. Some of her favorite artists include Portishead, Chopin, Pink Floyd, Lana Del Rey, and Billie Eilish. Her haunting sound and ethereal vocals captivate listeners, transporting them to an otherworldly dimension.
Samanta spent most of her 20s in New York City, where she established a presence in the underground rave scene. She has performed at staple nightlife venues such as Mercury Lounge, Paradise Club, and Elsewhere (The Hall). Now based in LA, Samanta is preparing to release her second solo album, titled “uninvited” (September 2024).
